quiz time (and no looking it up, its cheating)

First one with the correct answer gets a Hail Mary, Our Father and Glory Be said for their intentions and those of their friends, family and benefactors (all who reply will be especially included in the intentions of my rosary tonight)

the correct answer is sundown Maundy Thursday, so cannonically you are correct because it then would be Good Friday.

enjoy the prayers

40 days minus sundays after mardi gras (including ash wednesday)

thats clearly cheating, but I'm glad you pointed out for everyone that yes, indeed Sundays are NOT part of Lent (theoretically they are part of Easter year round)

fine fine... the answer is

sundown Maundy Thursday

so you and Isaac were both correct, as technically sundown would cannonically be the next day and therefore Good Friday.

you both get the prayer lovin though.

(anyone who comments on this thread still gets in on the rosary graces tonight, even if its after the answer has been given

I believe that Lent ends at Holy Thursday Mass. The Triduum (Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Resurrection Sunday) is a separate season altogether.

Am I right, am i right?

Lent offically ends sundown on Maundy Thursday, ya.

Lent ends after Holy Thursday services are over. Good Friday is not conisidered a part of Lent. [at least that is what i was taught my whole life...]
